Help us Welcome Krista to the Team!

On the blog this week we have another introduction to make. Sassafras is excited to welcome another Account Manager to the team, Krista! Krista is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and brings a wealth of knowledge and client management experience from previous roles. We’re really excited to share some more info about Krista:

What do you like most about working at Sassafras?

Really it’s about the people for me. It’s great to be part of a team that collaborates with one another so well, embraces creativity and isn’t afraid to have a little fun.

Your hometown postcard—what’s on it?

Sunshine and beaches, of course! They don’t call Florida the sunshine state for nothing 😉

Who is your hero and why?

My grandmother. Life wasn’t always easy for her, but she never let it hold her down or get in the way of going after her dreams.

What book are you reading right now?

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.

Name an interesting thing about yourself that others might not know.

The first vehicle I learned how to drive was a tractor.

What is your favorite web site or app?

Spotify – I use it every day.

Is there a particular project or work product you are most proud of?

As one of the newest additions to the Sassafras team, I’m still working toward my “proud project moment” at the company, but I’ll tell you there is some great work underway and I can’t wait to see the final product!

As for my proud career moment, I would have to say the wonderful work I’ve done in support of the Believe in Heroes campaign benefitting Wounded Warrior Project and other non-profits committed to aiding our nation’s military members and veterans.

Describe your ideal Saturday!

It would definitely include some good quality time outside, ideally at the beach, followed by a nice al fresco meal with friends or family and if we really want to get dreamy, let’s toss in some live music, too. Perfect!

You’re leaving town for a very, very long time…where would you dine for your last meal and what would you eat?

Cap’s on the Water. It’s a gorgeous backdrop for a delicious meal. And as for what’s on my plate? The ideal meal would be made up of many small bites shared between friends – shrimp, oysters, gator tail! It’s all good.
